I wonder if the name was ‘Federals’ wed be as cursed.Washington Redskins linebacker Reuben Foster was carted off the field after suffering an apparent left leg injury Monday during organized team activities, NFL Network's Mike Garafolo reports.
Such BS! Why is this team so cursed?
It would seem that the correlation between the Skins and continued injuries is what these players are NOT doing during the times between the end of season and mini camp and OTA's. Getting back onto the field and having done nothing to ready yourself can and does lead to these types of lower body injuries.
Pretty soon I'm sure we will hear TW's tore a pec, AD tore his groin, Guice re-injured his knee and LC also blew out his knee. Same ol shit, just another year later in DC.
Not over reacting at this point. It's all too common now at Ashburn every year. Look, I do not know if Foster broke his leg. I would say no at the moment but leaning more towards sprain, ACL, MCL etc. My thought was, if you go from 0 - 100 something may go wrong if you haven't been practicing 0 - 100. We all get it, its football and most of us have played and or coached the game. Sure seems to hit our favorite team pretty hard year in and year out wouldn't you say? Foster was CRITICAL to our success on defense this year. How do you replace that kind of talent? How exactly do you train to avoid a broken leg? What could Alex Smith have done to avoid his injury last season? Pretty much nothing. Cmon - this is football & players get hurt. Yes some of these may be avoidable & due to training & bad luck, but some of this just happens. Just about every team will have some type of injuries like this during the coming year.
This doesn't mean that every Redskin is now doomed to getting seriously hurt. Let's calm down a bit & not overreact to everything. HTTR
When do we just give up as a fan?
