Washington Redskins linebacker Reuben Foster was carted off the field after suffering an apparent left leg injury Monday during organized team activities, NFL Network's Mike Garafolo reports.

Such BS! Why is this team so cursed?

It would seem that the correlation between the Skins and continued injuries is what these players are NOT doing during the times between the end of season and mini camp and OTA's. Getting back onto the field and having done nothing to ready yourself can and does lead to these types of lower body injuries.
Pretty soon I'm sure we will hear TW's tore a pec, AD tore his groin, Guice re-injured his knee and LC also blew out his knee. Same ol shit, just another year later in DC.

Where do we find a real MLB for this team because he is NOT on the roster?

How exactly do you train to avoid a broken leg? What could Alex Smith have done to avoid his injury last season? Pretty much nothing. Cmon - this is football & players get hurt. Yes some of these may be avoidable & due to training & bad luck, but some of this just happens. Just about every team will have some type of injuries like this during the coming year.

This doesn't mean that every Redskin is now doomed to getting seriously hurt. Let's calm down a bit & not overreact to everything. HTTR

Not over reacting at this point. It's all too common now at Ashburn every year. Look, I do not know if Foster broke his leg. I would say no at the moment but leaning more towards sprain, ACL, MCL etc. My thought was, if you go from 0 - 100 something may go wrong if you haven't been practicing 0 - 100. We all get it, its football and most of us have played and or coached the game. Sure seems to hit our favorite team pretty hard year in and year out wouldn't you say? Foster was CRITICAL to our success on defense this year. How do you replace that kind of talent?

Guys work out so much and joints and soft tissue just can't handle the force they can put on those body parts. I also agree the Redskins are on an incredible run of bad luck.

I didn't see the play but it seems to me there are a lot more injuries these days that aren't caused by contact.

Can we look at this a bit closer or was this sheer bad luck? Let's see as Foster hasn't been on a football field for a very long time due to injuries from the previous 2 seasons. Was it prudent to just throw him out there and let him go? The training staff seems to protect those coming back from injury. Why not take it slow with Foster knowing his history of recent injures? I really wanted the Skins to throw it back in Jason Witten's face because of the MNF comments he made about the Skins picking up Foster before Witten know all the facts. I was really looking forward to that game for sure.

STARTING DEFENSE (LATIMER VOICE*) - Landon Collins was the prize of free agency, and Monday he will be on the field barking directions at teammates. How will he fit in with Josh Norman, and how does Quinton Dunbar look? When Dunbar went down with a leg nerve injury last season, the Washington defense fell apart. If he is all the way back would be big news for Greg Manusky's defense. There's also Reuben Foster. This will be the first time for the media to see Foster on the field in a Redskins uniform after his controversial acquisition last November. Presumably Foster will answer questions after the OTA session, stay tuned for that.

Hoffman said it's bad. A non contact injury. Foster was slapping the ground and crying.
