Report: Packers’ defensive coordinator job is Jim Leonhard’s if he wants it

Per reports by Packers News’ Tom Silverstein, the Matt LaFleur has narrowed his choices for Green Bay’s defensive coordinator to two candidates with Jim Leonhard being one of them. Silverstein added per his sources that it is the Badgers defensive coordinator’s job if he wants it.

There is always guys like that, that stick around even though they aren't great. One of those dynamic personalities you want to have a beer with. If I could I would drove him to the airport to make sure he left.

I wont pretend to know much about Barry but people weren't enthused about the Lafleur hire or the Hackett hire. I am at least wait and see before judging.

I will say the hire does seem odd on paper.
