Just because they have them that low doesnt mean they will be that bad. Sometimes the bottom of the conference is still only 10 or so points out of the playoffs and often only a point or two away from teams above.

Well they bought out Witt & with the acquisition of Wisniewski the Islanders are still under the cap floor. Considering this fact being competitive is all any fan of the team can hope for.
