There was precisely zero in that trailer that made me want to see this movie. I am unfamiliar with the book/s, so maybe that has something to do with it? But I would guess that vast majority of the populous is unfamiliar with the source material, so give us a reason to want this movie.

I am open to further insight into why I should care. I just dont yet.

The Green Knight was originally scheduled for released on Friday, May 29, 2020, but was delayed over a year by covid to Friday, July 30, 2021.

The source material is Arthurian legend. I admittedly was unfamiliar as well until the latest trailer and looking into it, but it comes from some of the most well known characters in history.

It also looks fucking cool.

I read up a bit on it and it sounds cool but I totally agree. I want to heavily invest in the King Arthur lore but know little about it and any movie that has come out has left me underwhelmed.

Not even lying.... I dozed off so many times. It was brutal.
