Even though we all knew it was a real possibility since last summer and the odds were going up exponentially the closer we got to 3/18 without a new deal and even if it proves out to be the right decision from a football standpoint I still can’t even wrap my head around the thought of TB12 in a different uniform.

Thank you thank you thank you Tommy for the greatest two decades a group of sports fans could ever possibly have hoped for.

Dear TB12: Been watching the Pats since the very early 70s we had a lot of irrelevant years, you pulled a franchise from depths of sorrow to one of the most feared and revered franchises in NFL history. Thank you, you are a legend and not city treats their legends better than Boston. Enjoy it.

Thanks for the memories.

Tom, I've been a Patriot fan since 1960 when the Boston Patriots were born. I suffer through 40 years of horrible ownership and bad teams. A bad injury to another player opened your door of opportunity and you lead this team out of the depths of despair into a shining light that has lasted twenty years. I thank you for being the person that my grandson followed to become the football player he is today. I thank you for the great Sunday afternoons and even more the six sets of # Games to Glory.

I wish you good health and success for the remainder of your career. Unless you play against my Patriots.

I’m still in disbelief that these were the Patriots . And I could never get a handle on this phenomenon and it’s source for the longest time ... the early 2000s had great teams especially those defenses .... Belichick kept the team competitive ... then Moss showed up but all for naught with the most disappointing loss in SB history ... Welker ... then Edelman and Gronk

But then came the Seattle SB win and I was finally convinced it was all Brady ... his tenacity showed its true strength and the team bought in ... stay in the game and Brady will win it ... again and again ... or get blown out of the SB and comeback anyway

tenacity in its purest form ...

Tom Brady spoiled us all ...

Hopefully he can have close to the same chemistry with whoever is behind center this year.

Brady is arguably the greatest quarterback in history. While some will argue that others belong in that conversation, Brady's success in the postseason is simply unparalleled.

Not only does Brady have the most Super Bowl titles and postseason wins of any quarterback in NFL history. He also has more second-half touchdown passes in Super Bowls than any other passer has in all their Super Bowl appearances combined, as the "Boston Sports Info" Twitter account pointed out on Sunday afternoon.

Second place is just the first place loser. If you or anyone thinks Montana is better all time you're sadly mistaken or just being an obtuse troll. Either way I won't go back and forth with you on this.
Maybe he was just showing a player who was not suspended for cheating.

Not original its commonly known since it was big news he cheated, got caught and punished.

For those that are deaf, dumb and blind...or just dumb.

The rest of humanity can remember that the courts ruled that Goodell could and did suspend him, not any any guilt, but because he could as part of the CBA. And, as Roger said, this was for "Past transgressions".
