I can't believe we are going into another damn season with Brandon Tate and Greg Little at WR. Well... actually I can. You just know Marvin Jones won't stay healthy all season. Same can be said for Eifert. Mario Alford is useless. He'd be cut if this were any other team but the Bengals.

Better hope Rex Burkhead is the second coming of Wes Welker. Anybody got Ryan Whalen's number?

There is a lot of assumptions that are likely false in there. and Some that are just plain false.

Well you have no idea if Jones or Eifert will be hurt. 0. Jones played in 11 games as a rookie and 16 in 2013. He was hurt 1 year, no reason to believe it will happen again. Eifert played in 15 as a rookie. Again, no reason to believe he will be hurt again. That is an assumption. Alford might not make every team, but he would make quite a few teams. He played well and his speed is top notch.

Neither Jones or Eifert has played a regular season snap in two years. Forgive me if I label them as injury risks. I'd love to be proven wrong. Of course it's an assumption. I'm being pessimistic obviously.

So your telling me your not remotely concerned about the lack of depth at WR? I seem to remember the last game this team played having to start Burkhead and Greg Little because of injuries. They've had a whole offseason to improve depth and yet here we go into 2015 with the same garbage for backups. If Jones goes down again we are right back to where we were last year.

Alford does one thing. Run a straight line sprint. This is football, not track.

Every team has concerns about certain positions. You can't be great at every position, you just can't. We have 3 talented WRs, a rookie who has shown promise and 2 veterans that are pretty crappy, tho Little played better this preseason. We also have 2 running backs that could line up in the slot at any given moment, 3 tight ends that have shown they are dangerous in the passing game. Last year more injuries than normal happened. If Jones went down, we would use more 2 TE sets and more sets with Gio and Burkhead. So no I'm not overly concerned about our depth because its something every team has to deal with,

Fair enough. You make good points. Obviously we have a little bit of versatility with the various skill position groups to move some guys around.

However, most teams that have concerns over depth at certain positions tend to improve said position groups.

What irritates me about how the Bengals operate is they continue to ignore glaring holes on this roster. The concern about WR depth isn't something new. They had this issue all last season. You'd think the embarrassment of starting a 3rd string RB at WR in a playoff game due to injuries would inspire the need to address the position in the offseason. This was a very good WR draft. They easily could've drafted a WR or two with a decent pick. Or signed a halfway decent veteran.

Instead they did what they always do. Make a bunch of excuses. Resign Brandon Tate and call it a day.

I'd love to be wrong. Somehow I feel this is gonna bite them in the ass yet again.

And the Seahawks yet again have a terrible OL. They traded one of their best for a TE who catches passes and can't block. They didnt address their OL till the 4th round. It's still a huge weakness to them. I'm sure the seahawks will be fine. Again every team has issues at positions. WR is the least important position on this team that is predicated on defense and running the ball. If any team has to rely on its 4th, 5th and 6th WR consistently they are in trouble anyways unless their QB is Manning, Brady, Rodgers, Brees.
