They have made the playoffs five straight years, even won back to back division titles. Given they play the AFC South and host the Steelers and Panthers, you would think it would be likely they bounce back and win 13-14 games again. However, they play the NFC West where the only team they would surely beat are the Cardinals. But the Eagles have lost to them before.

The Eagles lucked out this time by not getting the OC they wanted. Coaches actually turned down a job for them, showing that the people are not respecting them anymore. Even more, they're about to trade A.J. Brown. When defenses know they only need to stop Smith, that's it.

So here's what could go against the Eagles. The Cowboys and Giants did more this off-season. The Giants are about to add two more blue chip players on top of having a HC that knows how to win. They also did not play Daniels with the Commanders in 2025. No one in their division is a pushover and Eagles are due for a division sweep by someone. With what the Eagles lost/are losing this off-season, it's the perfect time for them to get tripped up in the division. They could go 1-3 or 0-4(depleted reasons) against the NFC West, and a loss to Chicago could be enough to keep them out.

Also, Eagles have owned the AFC South, but they have had their biggest struggles with the Titans. They're also 0-3 in Tennessee since the AFC South was formed, and have a overall 2-4 record against the Titans. The Titans are not the worst team, and it would take some breaks for them to improve. This is one of them. If the Eagles lose a game to the AFC South, it will be to the Titans.

So I'm going to say it. I won't be surprised if the Eagles implode and Siriani gets fired during the season.

Yah the Iggles kind of need a mini rebuild. I'd like them to go away because I'm sick and tired of hearing about the ass ram push.

While I don't totally disagree they could slip next season.....

Doing this before the draft? LOL.
Yeah making predictions like this before the draft is insane, we have no idea what the final roster will look like. I could definitely see the Eagles not winning the East though, they’ve won it back to back years and repeat champions don’t happen often in that division.

Fans like the OP should be taking notes and studying how good teams make moves each offseason to keep winning, instead of praying for our downfall like this.

Ragebaiting is certainly a choice. You might hit the halfcourt shot, you never know I suppose.

Jalen Hurts can’t outside a roster that strong as of today

I love how the football world has completely forgotten about Jayden Daniels. Not saying they will win the division but their omission here was noted.

Right now I'd say Philly and Dallas are 1a and 1b for the top spot in the division. Giants don't screw up their picks could take a leap up the standings and Washington could also with good drafting and JD getting back to fully health. It'll be a tough division next year.

The only way Philly does not make the playoffs is if AJ Brown is still on the team come week 1.

Everyone RELAX. Howie works miracles Philadelphia is hard to beat for that division. Washington with a healthy Daniels is a true contender, more o than a Giants team or Cowboy team. Still. Eagles reload not regress. They might not win 14 games but 11 might win the division

this is hard to answer with the Giants having all new staff, but I wouldnt sleep on them.
they have a lot of young bluechip draft picks on that defense & key players in skill position on offense. They make a couple right decisions between now & the start of the season. I'll just say again. They might just surprise people.

I certainly haven’t forgotten about him, and I think the CommieSkins will be improved this year, they have some holes but having a strong QB can overcome some team weaknesses - they don’t have a lot of great weapons on O around Jayden, McLaurin is their only standout guy, and that’s concerning to me. I do think their D should be improved and I like the additions they’ve made - Odafe Oweh and K’Lavon Chaisson at edge, Leo Chenal at LB, Nick Cross and Amik Robertson in the secondary, their D is definitely looking in better shape than it was last year. And I’m curious to see what they do in the draft. I definitely wouldn’t count you guys out.
I wouldn’t even count the G-Men out - if they hit on their draft picks and stay healthy on O they could be massively improved.

I’m leaning towards thinking the Cowboys will win the NFC East - their O should be really good again and if they can just get an okay D then they should be a playoff team and would have a good chance at dethroning the Eagles for the division crown. But we’ll see how the draft goes, I refrain from making predictions until closer to the season.

It should be a really competitive division as all 4 teams have reasons for hope and have some strong pieces.

Ditto. Prior to when it was becoming certain that the Bears were focused soley on Caleb, JD was my early choice for the draft. I thought he played a complete game, as in just as good with his legs as he was with his arm. And his rookie year pretty much proved this. However, the one concern analysts were saying prior to the draft that due to his slender frame, he could be prone to injury once he started facing all those rugged NFL defenses. The first year he slid by this, but it caught up to him last season. A healthy, 17 game-starting Daniels would undoubtedly improve the Commandskins playoff chances greatly.

Ok, I'll not argue their future with draft picks but those picks will be thrown in on a team that has a real hard schedule in the East. It will be cast upon them to overperform from the start IDK if they can do that. The HC will have a trial by fire too. The division is as strong as any other and as difficult to predict but Washington has had time to gel and an outstanding QB. Dallas has questions but they too have a new coach that inherited a underperforming team. It remains to be seen if Dallas has the luck to stay healthy, if so, it makes that division winner much harder and maybe just a 10 win winner

Howie's freaking brilliant and has 8 picks.....6 in the first 4 rounds.....and could add more draft capital if he deals AJ Brown in a draft day trade.

He does not get enough credit. He is one of the best GMs in the history of the league. He assembles rosters that cover up his head coach's many flaws.

Eagles still have a solid roster overall, I don’t see them falling off anytime soon … If I had to bet I’d say they make the playoffs again …

Oh without a doubt. I am not happy with the moves the New York Football Giants have made, especially at head coach. I'm pissed that a QB taken 25th in a weak QB draft looks like he may be a keeper.

But the class of the division is still the Philadelphia Eagles. I don't think it will be a dynasty, the QB is not good enough and eventually Howie will miss again (Reager over Jefferson) and all those young player's contracts will be due. They will find that difficult as they are paying elite money to a QB who is not elite, they have kicked the can down the road with several contracts and that will come due at some point. But for the next few years yeah they are the class of the division.
