Lots of contenders for that title. Browns hiring Kitchens as their head coach. Vikings with moves like trading a 5th round pick for some bum kicker who is way worse than the one they already had, the Cousins contract, signing a bunch of overrated bums on their defense to big contracts, etc.

The Raiders, however, might have made the dumbest single move in the history of the league with that 10-year, fully guaranteed $100 million deal for Jon Gruden though. We're talking about a guy whose career highlight was winning a Superbowl off the back of the legendary defense Tony Dungy built the same year after the Bucs fired him. Plus, the game had clearly passed Gruden by from a coaching standpoint way back when the Bucs cut him loose after 2008.

Any moron could have foreseen what a dumpster fire of a decision signing him to that mega deal would have turned out to be, especially on a crappy team like the Raiders. They're going to end up firing him by the end of his 4th season or so and end up eating about half of that guaranteed mega contract just to get rid of him.
