According to some Lions fans, Mosley played great last year.

According to some Lions fans Fairley was a stud, too...

According to some Lions fans, Mosley played great last year.

I think that is some hyperbole there. A lot of Lions fans thought that there was no drop off when he played instead of Fairley. I don't think that means he was great at all. I guess that statement could mean a wide variety of things depending on how you interpret it. To me it means that Mosley was ok, because Fairly was not that great. That being said Mosley today is better than any DT except for Ngata on the Lions right now. Unless Reid or Wright surprise us.

I think it is a curious signing when they signed Suh and spent a second round pick on Jordan Phillips, but depth never hurt anybody.

Suh played 80% of the snaps last season, most of any Lion. If memory serves.

I'll have to disagree about Mosley. He was depth here and will be depth in Miami.

Just for comparison sake, Suh played 80-85% of defensive snaps last year,. Ngata only played 66% last year down from 78% in 2012.

The Lions continued search for DT is no joke. Might even be a weak spot this year depending on the rookie and Walker.

Maybe C. J. Mosley should be the GM. He's certainly not as big a fool as Mayhew.

Good signing for them. They needed 1 more guy. Not sure Mitchell is much better than him either so having another guy in the rotation is always good. I would have been fine with the Lions signing him too. He would do the same here.

I trust Austin more than anyone not named Bellicheck. I will wait to see what happens with our young guys.

Hoping Reid is as good a pick as Sammie Hill was :hope:

Losing Suh and Mosely won't make any difference. They're just DTs. It's not like we lost a longsnapper or something.

I'll keep that in mind during the 3rd round next year.

Hey, Lions are doing that to the Ravens so turnabout is fair play I guess.
