Curious what peoples thoughts are on him. He is an offense that passed alot last year. He was a high draft pick. I get all that.

But his game by game stats.

So he had 0 points then exploded for 3 games. then stunk for 3 games, then a good game. 2 down games, a good game, 3 down games, 2 good games to close.

He had 10 td's as a rookie, thats fantastic, but almost 1/2, 400 of his 821 yards came in 4 games, the other 12 not so swell. I would assume some regression in TD's. Also Freeman is back. Julio still looms, and hooper was coming on a bit as a receiver.

What do you guys make of him, fantasy wise.

My guess is he's still boom/bust this year, but gets more targets, receptions, and yards on average. I'll probably start looking at him in the 4th in redraft and think he has a bright future in dynasty.

Yeah think that's spot on. He'll be a lot like last year but with some improvement in a lot of areas, but don't expect some major leap until Jones is faded out or retired.

With Freeman out (one less mouth to feed), he certainly had a chance to explode, especially with defenses doubling up on Julio.
As a WR3, his 800+ yards isn't too shabby. I think he needs an injury to Julio or Sanu to get more out of the offense.

You may be right. And that's one reason I try to avoid those depth battles.
Unfortunately, it's getting harder and harder to avoid in today's NFL.

Koetter has zero clue how to utilize a rushing attack, ball should be flying around in ATL, seems like a high upside guy for your WR2 or WR3 in deep leagues, 1st WR off the bench in shallow leagues

Could be a curious case of Matt Ryan. I’d be interested to see Matty’s Numbers & how they correlate to Ridleys. My guess is when Matt’s on his A game, Ridley gets his.

This is true. But at the time, the Falcons were still trying to squeeze whatever they could out of RB Steven Jackson who was 31. I give Koetter credit for at least being sharp enough to lean on the passing game which was younger and better.

I'm diggin' Ridley. On his way to being a star, the only question is when.

Agree with this.

Julio Jones had a pretty similar rookie season playing behind Roddy White.

Julio is better than White, so I don't expect him to surpass Julio any time soon, but I do think he will be this year Juju type breakout.

Look for mid WR2 numbers with more steady production in season 2.

With all due respect he’s not having a juju breakout

Juju broke out to 111 catches , 1400 yards , 7tds. If he does that I’ll eat my crow

I'm guessing he'll be the same guy next year unless something happens to Jones.

In a good league you might have to reach on him a small bit because I'm sure people will factor in his production going up if Jones drops off at all. There is a history of drops with Ridley going back to college, though, so I'm not going to be the guy who will reach on him.

Also of note, I kinda suck at fantasy but thats my .02
