I looked it up. It has NEVER happened before. We had 3 "almost" situations.

1951 NBA Finals - Rochester Royal vs. New York Knicks.
The Royals won the first three games, the Knicks won the next three, and then the Royals won it in game 7, 79 to 75.

1994 NBA Western Conference Semi-finals - Utah Jazz vs. Denver Nuggets
Jazz won the first three, Nuggets won the next. Jazz pulled out a 10-point win in game 7.

2003 NBA Western Conference First Round - Portland Trail Blazers vs. Dallas Mavericks
Mavericks won the first three, Blazers the next three. Mavericks won it.

Previously it happened in the NHL five times and once in MLB.

Yep, it's happened, I believe, 4 times in the NHL, 1 time in MLB and never in the NBA.

CHAMPIONSHIP team, mind you. Much of that era, the Sixers franchise was down the road in Syracuse.

Man. Where is my Time Machine?

Some of us might have had a chance in that era.

Looks like Hoosiers. Reminds me a bit of our high school team too. Had I played, I would've likely been forced to play center at 6'3. Needless to say, our team was small and not good, lol.

Yeah.

Because it is NBA my guess is that all those guys are between 6’3 and 6’7.

But still.

Just not what athletes look like today.

I was a 6-3 center

Most of my game was rebounding

Either offensive and score, or rebound, hit the outlet man and run like hell to beat everyone down the floor for baskets in transition

I had a college football coach recruit me to play for him…after watching me play basketball lol

I don’t think you’re tough enough to put the pads on.

That’s decent size for New England ball.

It’s small for a 34 de

One of my baseball coaches growing up was a mlb for URI football

He said everything about me (including the way I played every sport) was born to play mlb.

I may have liked that. Idk.

But I didn’t love football.

I loved playing basketball and baseball

I almost tried playing both in college but I kept getting hurt playing just one sport (I got wayyyyyy too big and thick and inflexible…it was a very terrible thing)

They didn’t have the sports science stuff they have now. Flexibility isn’t too difficult a fix with the right stretching regimen these days.
