It's not in the ghetto, but it is in the middle of no where. There's no stores, houses, or whatever around it. The billboard is on the side of I-5. They could have definitely chosen a better place.

No matter where the billboard is exactly located... 1) There is a billboard 2) The cheaper billboard lead to more money going to the Seattle Children's Hospital. Much rather things have played out like this than if the fans used the leftover $4,000 that went to charity to pay the premium price for an ad next to the Seahawks stadium.

There are rumblings Seattle fans will retaliate, and I hope they do if it means a couple thousand dollars go to Oakland Children's Hospital or the Bothin Burn Ward at Saint Francis Memorial (they help child burn victims in SF).

I will say that it was smart to go the electronic route. A standard paper billboard would have likely been vandalized one way or another (paint balls, graffiti, etc).


Great rivalry. Most Seattle fans enjoy it, just like I suppose most 49ers fans do to.
