Biggie raked at every level.

I’m hoping he has a good career too.

Biggio's been a walk machine plus he's shown good power for a 2nd baseman.

What kind of an overrated shouldn't be in the HOF douche names his kid Cavan?
175+ hits a whopping 6 times for biggio.

6 times in 20 years. he was a 150-160 hit a year glorified utility guy. top 5 MVP...twice (in concurrent years). his BEST years, 89-2001, he was a 122+ OPS guy.

the longer guys are playing, the more i think 3k hits is going to be more common (relatively speaking).

7 all star selections in 20 years. thats 3 more than bartolo effing colon. thats 6 more than brock holt.

Yep. I mean, Markakis has a very real shot at 3000 hits. He ain't no HOFer. That 3000 hit water mark needs to be archived.

Eh... Biggio's WAR, 7 Year Peak WAR and JAWS are all pretty much right on par with the average for HOF second baseman.

he also walked a lot and was one of the most hit batters of all-time. Biggio's .281/.363/.433 and 112 OPS+ are very good by 2nd base standards (and that's with him playing for a long ass time, he had a 121 OPS+ in his first 14 seasons).

All-Star selections are a dumb barometer. Jeff Bagwell had only 4 ASG selections. That's less than the likes of Mike Sweeney, Don Mattingly, Adrian Gonzalez and Paul Konerko. Would you say those guys were better than Bagwell?

I wouldn’t say he’s better than Bagwell, but I’ve always thought Konerko was highly underrated

Konerko was a nice consistent player but some people have tried to argue for him as a HOFer which I think is ludicrous. he was never really among the best at 1st base. he only had two seasons where he finished in the top 10 in OPS+ and he was a horrible baserunner even by 1B/DH standards.

my point was more that ASG selections aren't a good barometer. Bagwell had only a handful of appearances, but he was arguably a top 5 1st baseman of all-time.
