I can understand how they feel. It has happened to Wisconsin in the past. I think the committee didn't penalize Wisconsin for losing to Ohio State twice, but consider it as losing to one team. Penn St lost to Minnesota while Wisconsin beat them. Looking at common opponents, Wis consin has the performance edge.

I won't say it is enough but the committee did.

Yeah, the Cotton to play the G5, Memphis. We've play a G5 twice, TCU, before they joined the Big 12(and we lost) and Western Michigan. I remember how it felt like we were disrespected. So I get it.

Honestly, I felt the Badgers deserved the Rose as well but am kind of shocked that they got it. Wisky gonna treat the Duckies badly

Penn State will probably jump out to a big lead and then almost blow it or completely blow it bc Franklin gonna Franklin

I think we should give some props to IU, Illinois and Minny for the seasons they had.

With that, do you think they can build off the year they all had? Are they heading in the right direction or did they catch a break with scheduling and timing?

I'm a little biased, but I think MN is building something sustainable. They most likely won't repeat 10-2, but they should be pretty solid. Offensively the team was very young. Rodney Smith graduating will hurt, but Ibrahim was solid last year in a lead role and we have some young incoming kids

Defense is where I see need for most improvement. We have a lot of kids that redshirted this year and will need some kids to step up. Winfield is most likely going pro and our other big loss is coughlin. Our inability to get to passer without blitzing was one of our biggest weakness and need to get that fixed.

I expect MN to be B1GW contender

Illinois-I'm still not sold on Lovie. They had nice win vs Wi were bowl eligible, but still had some ugly losses.

Indiana-don't know enough about. They got buried a bit being in the east.

The committee usually keeps a CCG participant ahead of another team in the same league if they can. Otherwise youre penalizing a team for winning its division and playing that extra game

he was already in a WR group with Collins and DPJ and then Ronnie Bell emerged.

I think it's a good chance at least 1 of Collins/DPJ goes pro. Playing time probably woulda been there next year provided he stayed healthy.

Yes but maybe he has no confidence in the person who would be throwing him the passes or the offensive line that would be buying that quarterback time.

I'm seeing Hafley and Washington's names being thrown out at some of these openings in the last couple days. Would be interesting to see if OSU loses some staff members. My guess is they will.

Hafley off to BC to be the HC.
