I am hoping that this league develops OL and QB's

and all the rest sure but NFL needs OL and QB's like never before.

I am tentatively going with San Antonio because I lived just outside (to the North and East) of it for about five years as a child and had fun growing up there.

Has anyone followed these players? they might be help we are digging a great big ass hole the way we are cutting players.

And IMO we don't have the money to fill all the holes.

2 Starting MLB

2 starting CB's

2 Starting OL

1 Saftey not necessarily a starter.

1 QB Developing best IMO to draft they are pricey as hell otherwise .

1 WR that can out run everyone on the field.

2 NT Most don't get this might be our biggest Need .

I watched religiously in their opening week but haven't tuned in since. Year-round football just doesn't hold my interest. Half of what makes the NFL addictive is the long offseason and draft anticipation.

The game last night between Salt Lake and San Diego was pretty good.

The Fleet won it with a last minute drive with 52 seconds left in the 4th qtr to kick the winning FG.

This should be no surprise. A new league starts and is lucky to make it through the season anymore. Most leagues don't even get started up and fold last minute leaving a ton of players scrambling.

People never believe me when I tell them the most stable league after the NFL, CFL is the IFL league that I recruit players for.

AFL nearly folded the last two years... added two teams this year, but who knows how long those teams can last. AFL teams are starting to go to the IFL. It pays less, but it does the trick. Had 6 players I helped last year end up with CFL contracts by the end of the year.

Let 'er RIP...

I'm sorry for the football players who lost jobs - left hanging.

To be honest I think most players in this league knew this was possible before they got themselves into it. I talked to a few who are bummed but were prepared when it first got started at the possibility.

I feel bad for the guys who paid money for workouts as a money donation who never got a shot.

Seems to be the way start up leagues try and get things funded. Have thousands of players try out paying 100.00 when they have no shot.

I am sure our boy Rahim Moore will bounce back from this. :)

A great business model is profiting on the hope and usually unrealistic talent of players. Starts in elementary school where parent takes their kid to a baseball or football guru in hopes he or she becomes a star. Great Business model because there is alway the next young kid who’s parent wants them t succeed in sport. Continuous built in customer base.
