Rangers (5th place) at 2-7 face off against the M's (4th place) at 5-5. Jon Gray makes a hasty and welcome return to the rotation tonight, followed by Dunning and then Hearn. 8:40 starts across the board. Surely one of these guys has it in them to go 5 innings, right?

Heim hit pretty well against the M's last year so I imagine he'll find his way into the lineup in a couple of games. Looking for some error-free baseball this series.

we've had 1 go 5 innings and it doesn't look that we have anyone else who may reach that and then there's the "bullpen"

Exactly. Martun Perez is not an innings eater. And if you have to baby along one of your starters you need someone to replace him and eat those innings too.

Gray was expected to go 5 or more but he gets a break due to ST. Hearn, we were not sure he could but has a good chance. The rest minus Dunning are garbage to go 5 innings.
