Wait wait wait... You guys are looking at this all wrong... Before the trade I thought damn Mebert might have me at corner but it's close, it all comes down to if you think Dieon is better than Rod Woodson, because Chuckwood is IMO a little better than Mike Haynes... After the trade I have the best secondary in the draft without question!

I will trade one of my best players but you have to give me $10+ in cap space or around there, your current OTC, and a player in return (pretty decent). I also an automatic win in a play-in game.

Thank you in advance.

nvm Cross out the play-in game.

Because a guy named Ritz wasn't involved in the deal :dhd:

I'm interested to know how you would have drafted Ritz?...Your scheme, first couple round picks, etc.

This draft IMO takes a lot more thought than the other cap drafts (baseball, basketball). You really have to pick and choose what players/positions you want to fill with higher prices and I have done a lot of searching, trying to find great value guys. It's pretty tough.

I hope @Mebert knows I was just messing with him about the trade. Was it a one-sided trade? Absolutely, but this is just a draft with a bunch of pals and we don't really win anything so who cares. You can still call me Jesus if you want...

I am frustrated about the whole thing, but mainly because it is not as bad as you are making it out to be. I will post more on it after my next pick as an example

I would have created my BPA list from 1-100 then put their $ by their name. Then you could see where the biggest value picks are in the draft. I wouldn't be focusing on having best at 1 position but piecing together the value picks with a fewer higher priced players. I would also constantly figure out how much I had left per player. This draft is like fantasy football where a good game plan before the draft would make a world of difference.

The trade probably won't look as bad later on bc essentially Mebert will get a number of better players than he would of if he didn't make the trade. He loses a lockdown CB but I just think he could have gotten a little more. $5 + the players' salary is actually a lot in this draft though honestly.
