That's what happens when one has to take risks and carry a subpar team.

We have all seen QBs win with inconsistent defenses or poor running games without turning the ball over a bunch.

He throws interceptions because the defense is reading him and they know where he is going
Wilson can't be read because he even doesn't know where he is going.....

Luck going 16-0 good luck
Luck throwing interceptions? bad Luck.....

Joe Montana's career INT % was 2.5% .....the same as Andrew Luck's % in 2014. hmmmm

He doesnt throw tons of INTs considering he much he throws in that offense (outside of last year's playoffs), but fumbles the ball away a lot. At least he did this year.

Nice to see you spin and backpedal after showing you that Lucks INT% is the same as what many call the GOAT....lol

I said he turns it over a lot. He did this season. No spin or backpedal.

Do you disagree?

Joe Montana had a career 2.59 INT % when the league average for QBs was 3.97.

Andrew Luck had a 2.60 INT % this season when the league average was 2.52.

Joe Montana - 35% better than the league average. Andrew Luck 3% worse than the league average.

So - exactly how are those two stats similar to each other?

What's the worst way you can end a drive? A turnover, right?

Offensive turnovers per drive.....Seattle is #1 in the NFL at .071. Indy is 27th in the league at .152, more than twice as often as Seattle. Why? Because Luck turned it over 22 times.

So talk about INT % all you want, but Luck turns it over way too much. At least he did in 2014.

No, this is what happens when you when you let your competitive drive overcome your common sense.

This arguement has been used over and over, but it doesn't add up. The Colts have a below average running game, but that's the price you pay when you throw the ball more than any other team in the NFL (just like Seattle's passing game is below average because they run it more than anyone else). The only thing the Colts are terrible at is turnovers, everything else is pretty much solid.

facts are devastating to what he "feels", though.

I like russ a lot but i wouldn't take him over the other 3 qbs left in the playoffs. I don't care what the stats say. he has had and still has the best running game and defense out of the teams remaining.

What does defense have to do with passer rating?

Also, over the last 7 games, which the Hawks are 7-0 and Packers are 6-1, which RB has the most carries, yards, YPC and TDs? Thats right, the guy who carries the load for that game manager, elite-wanna-be, Aaron Rodgers.

I chose the last 7 games because you would think that since Seattle is 7-0 and RW is just a game manager, then there should be all kinds of RB yards and Beastmode domination as well as Defensive scores. Nope, one score by the defense and an avg of just 79 ypg for Lynch, while Lacy is putting up 99 ypg.

RW will take your soul.

Wow...another angle in which an insecure Seahawk fan must prop up Wilson/tear down Luck. Can't say I'm shocked.

I like how you frame as if there aren't people doing the same thing in the other direction.

The fact that Andrew Luck has to cut down on the turnovers is hardly earth shattering news. It is well known.

Claiming that Andrew Luck would go 16-0 in Seattle is absurd because being 16-0 is as much about good fortune as it is about actual play.

How long are you going to play the 'subpar team' angle?

Since 2002-2014, these 13 seasons, they made the playoffs 12 times in 13 seasons, and the ONE year they didn't, they TANKED. Painter was a joke at QB, then replaced by Orvlosky, and they won twice.

This roster doesn't make the playoffs with 10+ wins EVERY time, with a subpar lineup.
This is such a weak argument.

It's all you got though jelly, so keep using it.

Subpar lineup my ass.

The game has changed a bit since Montana played don't ya think? Using him to compare the modern day QB is reaching.

Well y eah, but I'm sure Montana's INT% would be alot higher if he didn't play behind an all-pro OL or an OL as bad as the Colts

I know right? ALL those turnovers and still near the top of the league in offense. Just imagine if Luck ever gets a running game or offensive line?!? Watch out NFL

I like how you want to insinuate as if this is somehow a 50/50 thing....at lets be factual...I've seen YOU do the exact same thing in regards to this argument. Don't even try and deny it.

You mean the 7th ranked Pass protection unit in the league that he already has? Maybe he should play for Seattle and learn what its like to play behind the 24th ranked pass protection line.
