Demarcus Ware seems like a no-brainer.

Hard for a WR to get in, it seems.

Im a huge Torry Holt fan but the best WR on that list is Andre Johnson

I think Leroy Butler is another guy that was ridiculously underrated. Not sure if he gets in now but he should very soon.
I would put Andre above Ward, even Holt but Holt is likely the WR to get in

I dont even know how you rank the WRs in a meaningful way. Holt was a key part of one of the most famous offenses of all time but also had to carry the Rams when they were mediocre. Hines Ward's style of play is something some fans love but its not exactly the image of the NFL today. Steve Smith seems like a major trash talker and also had to carry some lackluster QBs but he was pretty much always open until he was always doubled. Wayne seems like a Hall of Very Good member.

Andre Johnson, though. Man, was that guy on the wrong team. I feel like if he had his career on any one of 20+ different teams then he'd be a HOF lock.

Holt has a ring, more TDs, while Johnson had 800+ more yards playing in 20 more games.

Holt also had a record 6 consecutive 1300+ seasons, while having two 1,600+ seasons. While Johnson doesn't have any.

Holt has had more consecutive 1000 yard seasons than Johnson has had in his career.

Holt definitely had a better career than Johnson. He came into the league as a key piece on a SB team. And yeah, he was awesome.

Andre Johnson came into the league on an expansion team. The year before Johnson was on the Texans, Carr was sacked 76 times in a season and on 14.6% of his dropbacks. Carr was Johnson's QB for the first four years and Carr led the league in sacks again in two of those seasons. Carr started 75 games and threw 59 TDs and 65 INTs. Johnson's next QB was Matt Shaub who was probably on par with Marc Bulger.

So to compare their careers, one got Kurt Warner and some other guy. One got David Carr and some other guy.

I agree Holt had the better qb, Holt also had to share the ball, Faulk got most of the target and touches and targets went to Bruce.

Honestly, I think Holt has a better case for being in the HOF than Kurt Warner does but that kinda is what it is. Warner benefited from those 2 great WRs basically canceling each other out.

Hines has the Super Bowl MVP on his resume, so have to think that would get him a few votes at least

Rodney Harrison says:

“Just imagine some of the things that have gone across my mind, selfishly speaking, looking at the guys that they chose in front of me and saying, ‘Are you kidding me?’ It’s just one of those things," he said. "I’ve said this before, and I know a whole bunch of Hall of Famers, but I am never trading in my Super Bowl rings for a Hall of Fame jacket."

I concur.

"If I was playing against Cam Newton, I would try to take him out. I would try to take him out." When Patrick asked Harrison what he meant, his answer didn’t get any better. "I would try to hurt him," Harrison said. "I would go right to his knees. That’s the goal. You want to knock him out — that might be the difference between winning and losing the Super Bowl..."
"We’re going for his knees," Harrison said. "Every time he runs the ball we need seven, eight guys hitting him. Hitting him in his shoulder if he tries to jump over the pile. Put your crown of your helmet right through his throat. That’s just the mentality."
