Mercedes appeaars to be back as they took the front row in qualifying. Russell wins the opener in Australia over Antonelli! Ferrari has def improved. LeClerc took Third (podium) and Hamilton was Fourth. The Champ Norris finished Fifth. Apparently Cadillac is the new Haas. Bearman with Haas finished 7th. Perez in a Caddy finished 16th and Bottas was dead last.

I have Apple TV and it’s not showing the races up here. TSN has the broadcast rights for Formula One in Canada. So they block it out of Apple TV. Up here we get P2, or P1 if it’s a sprint weekend, sprint, qualifying sprint, race, race, qualifying, and the race itself.
And I thought that race was pretty entertaining. There’s a few issues, but there was some racing going on.

Second Race in-a-row that Mercedes has dominated. Apparently they have the new livery system down cold.
Antonelli gets his first F-1 win followed by Russell. Then came Hamilton who gets on the podium followed by LeClerc in Fourth. Bearman brings Haas in at Fifth.
The Caddies moved on up to 13th and 15th this Race. Andretti has his Cadillac entries much improved then when Haas started with F-1.

There’s been a fair amount of entertaining actual racing. But yes, there are issues with the battery process. I’m still enjoying the season. There’s nothing else worth watching on TV right now except soccer. And the occasional tennis match.

Many racing pundits concerned with F-1 are releasing articles that Verstappen is considering retirement after this Season. Might be click bait but they are out there.
In the meantime, Antonelli takes over the points lead as he wins the Japan Race and Russell finishes Fourth. Haas' Bearman is Seventh in the ponts and Andretti's Cadillacs are 19th and 20th.

As much as I hate to say it if Max wants to run away and cry, there’s the door. Hamilton stuck around in 2022 after he got shafted in 2021. Max should suck it up like a buttercup and work to make it better. Right now he’s just an ignorant Dutch bastard by saying I’m gonna quit.
