The 2023 Season kicks off at home against NL champs PHI: Cheesesteaks V BBQ at the Grill 3/30 - 4/2

The wait is finally over and baseball that counts is back. The Rangers open the 2023 season at the Grill with a marquee matchup of new Rangers ace Jacob deGrom against Aaron Nola on Opening Day. Saturday's matchup at 3pm (no game Friday) will be another acquisition for the Rangers on the mound, Nathan Eovaldi, and the Sunday night spectacular at 6pm will be last year's ace and all-star Martin Perez. The pitch clock arrives to MLB this season.

Lots to watch on the offense side, with a lineup that should feature both small ball and long ball.

And in the dugout is 3x WS winning manager Bruce Bochy, with returning pitching guru Mike Maddux by his side.

All things considered, the 2023 season has more potential than we've seen around here in a long time.

You know, I have no problem with either Miller or Garver being on the team, but as backups and not in a platoon. Although, we could do a lot better than Miller as a backup.

You have to play your backups at least some.
One thing is for certain though I surely don’t want Duran playing f sparsely as a back up
