Having emergency surgery on his hip, but what a QB. The GOAT at Alabama and made probably the clutchest throw in CFB History. He is a real one.

God Bless him
Awful this is how his career ended.

Any chance he drops to the second round? I know team that needs a qb and would probably still pass on him because the gm has a homer for Mitch

More like any chance he will ever play again? This is most likely a career ending injury.
Is that what they're saying now? A career-ender?!?!

Will the CFP committee punish Alabama in the rankings because of this now?

Injury looked very similar to what happened to Jalen Watts-Jackson on his insane blocked punt return TD at the end of the Michigan vs MSU game a few years ago. Knee out and a lot of weight landing on it. He never really recovered from it.

Mac Jones seems so damn happy to be there that I am at least glad for him that he'll get to play.

My guess is they look at this similar to how the basketball committee does and they hold them out.

It'll probably depend on our performance against Auburn, but I won't complain if we're left out. I don't think we have what it takes this year.

One sec...

:gaah:

I'm ok now.

Prognosis is a dislocated hip with a posterior wall fracture.

I think that means the head of the femur was driven into the pelvis. Ouch.

After he gets that first NFL paycheck he should consider it. I just keep thinking about Robert Griffin aka Mr. Glass.

95% chance he doesn't get drafted, would need a miracle at this point to even play again :bawling:

If he ever gets drafted. He might not be able to play again.

Broken femur tip puncturing the pelvis is one of the worst sounding injuries I’ve ever heard of. Holy shit.
