Well, I guess it was not as bad as I thought it would be. I guess Blough was not terrible. He does not have the arm strength though. I still think Driskell is better as a backup. Neither looks like they can be a starter. I am also done watching Amendola drop passes. We could have kept Ebron if we wanted to see that shiit. Defense needs LBs in the worst way. No pass rush at all and yet still no coverage on short and intermediate routes. They cant do either.

I don’t understand blaming Ford for this. They brought in a Patriots front office guy. Hired a Patriots HC. It isn’t as if they aren’t spending money.

Blough floats every intermediate and deep pass. He is lucky he was not picked 3 or 4 times. Bears defense dropped a few. He had 1 nice one and one that anyone QB from D2 and up could have made because KG beat his guy so bad. I like his decision making, but he looks weak. Yes even weaker then Ryan. He will get 1 more game at least so we will have a bigger sample to look at. I am not giving up on him just yet but that was just my first impression.

Remember that Christmas Eve game in 2005 when the Saints were winning 12 - 10 over the Lions? Jason Hanson kicked a field goal as time expired. The only game interim HC Dick Jauron won out of the last 5 games. Because of that field goal the Lions fell about 6 places to 10th from the high draft picks.
