And with that, all the crazy scenarios I could come up with regarding the Pacers in free agency were fun while they lasted. I only wish the Pacers would have known this in hindsight and therefore pick up the option of Stephenson, who had a really good year and played in all 82 games.

But, it just so happens that just about everyone else had picked up their options. It just so happens that anyone who spends significant time in Indiana wants to continue be here.

Aaron Holiday may go down as our biggest off-season acquisition for 2018, and I think a lot of our fans would be fine with that. I wouldn't want to go through this whole process and and up holding Jabari Parker or Aaron Gordon.
