Ash is not very different from Major, Colt, or VY during their sophmore seasons. His numbers are pretty much better than all of theirs across the board.

The difference is Colt and VY both made HUGE jumps in their productivity and play making in their junior seasons.

I've seen nothing from Ash that indicates he cannot also have the same level of growth. I guess time will tell.

Yep Greg Davis was a fucking hero w/ both of those guys @ QB, but as soon as things started going bad, Mack had to feed the lions (irate boosters) and Davis was the sacrificial lamb.

Fact is, Davis sucked well before, during, and after both those players were in uniform. He wasn't a scapegoat......he was part of the problem. Tell us the great job he's doing at Iowa for proof.

With TAMU it's pretty obvious that they have skyrocketed ahead of Texas in one single season. 2012. They were neck and neck for a couple of years, but now it's not even close. And I even said "the last 3 years" for Baylor.

Pretty sure that has nothing to do with "years passed". He's starting to sound like a Nebraska fan romanticizing about the glory days.

One other thing: We're coming up on 8 years since Texas has won a national title.

Nebraska started catching MAJOR shit for not winning another one 8 years after their last, which, coincidentally is the last time Texas won a title.

Granted, Texas has been to a national title game since 2005. It was 2009. 4 years after their previous appearance. Where the fuck does that sound familiar??

Nebraska won their last title in 1997 and then played in another title game in 2001. 4 years after their previous appearance.

The sad thing is, you guys don't even have a dynasty to prop up, so as the years tick by and you still aren't winning championships, you will literally become a lower form of Nebraska fan.
