Oregon Is Faster
Dude might currently be one of the top 3 coaches in the NBA and is completely underrated. Year after year he compiles a 50+ win season, and although his post season record isn't great, he's changing that this year, but also his lack of post season success comes from the roster he has had to coach.
I can't imagine if Stotts actually had legit talent surrounding Lillard what he could be capable of doing. For years, Portland has failed to give Lillard the needed talent to really carry and grow with this team, the success of the Blazers since Lillard's arrival has been the magic act of Stotts and Lillard putting on a show. The front office continues to give Lillard and Stotts bench players to try and make a playoff run with.
There is still a lot of this series with OKC left, trust me, as a Portland fan this series isn't over until 0:00 is on the clock of Portland's final game, but regardless of winning or losing this series, the job Stotts has done with this team over the years is unbelievable.
I hope Portland does whatever it can do keep him in Portland. But like Lillard, if Stotts looked elsewhere I wouldn't blame him because the Blazers have completely failed in providing him and Lillard with the needed talent.
