Davis isnt even in the top 30 in yards, the mark of consistency is essential to not water down the RB HOF selection. Davis benefited from blocking and a fucking amazing QB. Crazy the guy played i think 4 complete seasons. Every now and then one slips by.

Not good enough.

Gets in due to playoffs, id imagine.

Warner is just as difficult of a sell. He threw 2 of the most costly Ints of all time and was surrounded with talent.

I'd say the QB position is the most skilled and difficult, he should be in the HOF, even if not, at least before Davis, serious?

Nah, the Cardinal SB run was done with a mediocre team that was carried by Fitz & Warner.

Davis was the most dominant RB in playoff history and he dosen't deserve to be in. But Kurt Warner who threw the 2 costliest pick 6s in Super Bowl history deserves to be in eh.

But mostly Fitz. Falcons and Eagles were pretty sloppy that year, too.

If Leinart isn't a bust, we're not having this conversation. Bruce was also a constant for the Rams for a long time. Bulger stepped in pretty easily for Warner.

Warner has definitely had as weird a career arc as I can remember out of a HOF QB.

If you have good but not great stats & carry two longtime terrible franchises to the SB while putting up big numbers in the playoffs, chances are that you will make the NFL HoF.

Yep. Doesn't even matter what era it is if it's good volume. The folks raising a fuss over Warner are going to lose it when Eli gets in.

I think Davis was probably a HOF back. First ballot is a little crazy. The double standards of the HOF are a joke.

I'm still scratching my head how the HOF left both TO and Brian Dawkins out? WTF? A kicker, TD, and Warner in over these two? GTFO!

The guy played 4 fucking season and won a superbowl, can someone do a fact check of similar RBs but not in the HOF, i feel like you can find a few?

Team was 9-7 & ended up with home field in the NFCC game after the Delhomme 5 int game & the Giants shit the bed. Warner put up great numbers that year & Larry put up NFL record numbers in the playoffs. But overall, the team was below average in many areas.

If we are talking about Fame then TD and Warner are historically important and famous.

But then you have to let in TO at some point, too.

If it's a hall of best careers then they got it way wrong imo
