He got the taste of glory when he took over for the last 30 seconds of the game and became the “Wonder Kid”. But that was made possible by his talks with Rebecca about building himself up. The whole season was about a kid who had always had the worlds thumb on his head keeping him down. Once he experienced a little success, he didn’t know how to deal with it internally, so he was not able to turn his inner-alpha off.

I understood that. Was wondering if his criticism about Ted had any validity. Did Ted really abandon him??

I don’t think so at all. Nate just just got such a big head and he didn’t have the life tools to be able to handle it.

i read an article that explained his view... interesting little filming strategy, until the last episode, the two actors were not filmed together... Or maybe more accurate, until the last episode, the two characters never talked to each other about anything...

I maybe have 2 more episodes of season 2 left. To me, it is all about the psychological aspects of the characters, driven by the team shrink.

you have Ted figuring out what is going on in his head
you have Nate who had a taste of success and is letting it go to his head
you have Roy who is trying to figure out what he wants from life after playing and how to be himself in a relationship

really great so far

Episode 2 was much more enjoyable than the premiere and set up a couple good storylines.

Decent season premiere but lacked a lot of humor.
what's great about the show that it isn't totally one dimensional.

Ted is a tragic figure in the end and the story hits you there while being accompanied by this feel good, humorous cast of characters.

I want my Ted Lasso to do all of it.

I LOVED S1. S2 was good, not great. I will wait to binge S3, but I have heard good things so far.

I will admit episode 2 was pretty funny

the interactions between characters on this show is just so good.

Roy and Jamie had me laughing
