This tool had a much better chance if he stopped being a stubborn assclown and just changed his position to TE

Maybe he's played TE before...idk, but he was a pretty good HS baseball player...not that it will matter...he's not making a pro team playing TE or outfielder. What he should do is focus on his media gig...they seem to like him.

He has the money & time to do this so more power to him. Not a big fan of his, but I also see nothing wrong with anything that he has done over time - the culprits are the media not him. I can't believe that Mike & Mike dedicated most of their show to this topic while we are in midst of the Olympics & the NFL is gearing up. Ridiculous - this should be a page 2 story.

I want to see his first at bat against a pitcher throwing back-foot sliders. Dude doesn't have a prayer at hitting that.

Except that he's too short and too slow to be a receiving tight end.
He's too small and too upright to be a blocking tight end.
Never blocked before
Never caught before
Never tried before

If Tebow was a tight end, he'd be a poor mans D.J. Williams.

Now not saying he can make it in the NFL as a TE but he did run a 4.72 40 time. Compare that to Gronk who at his Pro Day ran a 4.68 if I remember right. He is also 6'3" which isn't the tallest TE ever but not like he is short either.

Yup Agree.

And this guy was pretty good in HS too. 4 TDs in 1 game!

I'll probably never get another chance to mention this, so I will do so now. Tebow sounds like Teeball.

That is all.

Might as well try, his biggest problem will be the media. As if he doesn't do well everything they will harp on him. Tebow isn't like Michael Jordan coming in off the streets trying to play.

No. His biggest problem will be that he won't be good enough to play, just like NFL football.

Says who though? Baseball is the hardest sport to project how a guy will do. Jordan was garbage in AA but actually turned himself into a MLB caliber player before he went back to basketball and Jordan was never as good as Tebow in their baseball amateur baseball careers.

Place your bet where you like, it's your money.

I'm not saying he's guaranteed to fail. Just that he will most likely will, and media coverage will have nothing to do with it.

If Hillary Clinton can be President, Tebow can play in the MLB.

Not exactly fair, you're putting pressure on him thinking anything but MLB is a failure. 99.9% of guys who sign professional contracts in baseball don't reach the big leagues. I'd say the term successful will never be applied because he is so polarizing. If he makes it it will only because his name, if he doesn't it is because he sucks.
