Then there's something wrong with both of these lists, because in the second one, it says Bama has been ranked #1 in 32 different polls, and that has to mean by different polling agencies, because they've been ranked #1 in more than 32 AP polls alone in their history.

If 32 different polls existed at one time or another to give bama a #1 vote, then I can't imagine that Yale never got a single one from any of these 32 different sources.

Hell, Del Monte Pre-Flight, Great Lakes Navy and Randolph Field have been voted #1 at some point...when were THEY awesome?

I understand that Yale did most of their damage before WWI, but they were still competitive into the 30's and 40's...they never got ONE vote for first place from any of these 32 different sources? What am I missing here?

thats quite impressive actually considering that of the 65 power schools 44 have a #1 ranking, and just 3 G5 schools & 1 FCS schools has a #1 ranking as well.

thats pretty telling of how the power divide stands between those 3 groups and reaffirms why the worst of the p5 schools are more deserving to be in a power conference than any of the g5 schools except maybe BYU.
