Will be? The Redskins already are worse than the Browns. The Browns finished with a better record, have a much better QB situation, a better FO, better defense & much more hope for the future.

Column: On Snyder's team, honesty is not in the employee handbook

Good article - kind of sums up the situation well. You would think that Snyder would at least give somewhat of a shit about this team, but I guess not. Oh well - getting to the pt where it is hard to really care about this team since the organization doesn't really seem to care about the fans or winning.

Sorry to whine but this is just about the last straw for me.

This team has a sorry owner, coach, GM & subpar players for the most part. They have a history of messing up the offseason so not a lot of hope there.

Beyond that they show little to no respect for the fans. They are also just about the only team in pro sports where the owner & GM/president hardly ever address media or fans so we don't even know what they are thinking.

My frustration comes because of 20 years of this shit & it is only getting worse. Please tell me why I should feel good about this ream.

I know that others on this forum don't care that much about the Redskins & have other NFL teams that they support - NP. Not me.

I would like to believe that at sometime in next 10 years this team can be a SB contender but I find that almost impossible to believe under Snyder. Sigh.

I was about to say imagine how the Vikings feel they went from 13-3 paying this guy all this money to not making the playoffs. Redskins made the right choice on that one. The skins were looking pretty good before the injuries I would say the skins probably had the worst luck for the 2018 season

Why should he be? The money still rolls in if he is there or not.

Read WP article today about Scott Van Pelts ESPN rant about Skins. As the article mentions moving forward Snyders biggest fear may be disinterest by fans.

I realize that Snyder & Allen are both complete assholes but if they see a true threat to their bottom line they may have to take action at some time.

I used to think that this type of thing would never go anywhere. Now I am not so sure given the recent horrible attendance. Even someone like myself who always was optimistic in the past is seriously considering not watching many games next season if they start out poorly. This organization deserves no respect from the fans

Must watch

Right - this is exactly what I referred to in my reply. Things like this are the source of my frustration. It is one thing to root for a bad team or see issues that are correctable that perhaps can be addressed over time. It is a completely different thing when the issues are with an organization that doesn't appear to care in the least about their customers/fanbase.

That definitely appears to be the case with the Redskins. If this is not the case then why don't either Snyder or Allen come out in public and state otherwise. Their pompous attitude is completely unacceptable. They act like they are better than everyone else, and frankly don't really care about building a winning team (just make token moves to try to fool fans which no longer works for many).

Honestly - we have seen this shit for almost 20 years now. What moves are they going to make to improve the team that have not already been made & failed in almost every case? They have brought in SB winning coaches, a high level college coach, top notch assts & vet coaches. They have attempted to trade the farm for a high level QB, tried w/ a lower rd QB, traded several times for vet QBs & all of these moves have failed (not because any of these strategies are bad but because they made the wrong moves or didn't have the patience to see them through).

The issue is that the egos for these two clowns gets in the way of everything. I really thought that they had turned the corner when they hired SM, but Allen's ego didn't allow him to stay w/ that setup. If SM wasn't the guy - great - get another GM & give him COMPLETE control - don't make the guy a puppet. Allen should either be fired (won't happen since his head is firmly planted in Snyder's ass) or only handle non-football matters. Until that happens I just don't see much hope. We will continue to debate whether to pickup or draft this guy or that guy, but the true issue will never be addressed. Oh well.....
