Kansas City
1.31 - Samuel Cosmi, OL, Texas
2.63 - Kelvin Joseph, CB Kentucky
3.94 - Payton Turner DE Houston
4.136 - Austin Watkins Jr WR UAB
4.144 - Josh Palmer WR Tennessee
5.175 - Isaiah McDuffie LB Boston College
5.181 - Larry Borom G Missouri
6.207 - Larry Rountree III RB Missouri

Cosmi doesn't have the arm length that the Chiefs look for but he does have a good athletic profile and position flexibility if LT doesn't work out for him. Lots of pass blocking reps but probably better film as a run blocker. Borom comes in with position flexibility and lots of functional strength but maybe not the floor or upside of Cosmi. Most Mizzou oline prospects end up at C at the NFL level and I do think Borom could end up being in the interior for awhile in the league with an outside chance of holding up at RT.

IRL I wouldn't be shocked if the Chiefs took Payton Turner in rd1. The guy is a monster and he can bend and he can move on the inside on pass downs if Spags gets creative. Chiefs are relying on Taco and Frank Clark next year at DE. Taco is on a one year deal. Clark has a massive contract and an opt out next year. Only one of those guys are on the team long-term. A steal in rd3 imo. Like Cosmi, he plays a bit higher than I'd like but I do think he'll be a solid pro.

I don't think Charvarius Ward is anything more than just an ok starter at best. Chiefs also love their dime packages. Kelvin Joseph is an interesting prospect because he halfway fits as a S more than a CB but he has tons of upside. He played Devonta Smith better than anyone else but in general he is a bit too raw for rd1 so I think I got him about where he should go in the real draft. In general you can never have too many DBs.

Sammy Watkins' cuz is an 'old' prospect coming out and has the size and route running I want from a guy who should be able to contribute right away. He isn't very explosive which is why he should go later in the draft but he is used to mediocre QB play and he has good hands and body control to use his catch radius to the fullest. Could be a better pro than college player with a QB like Mahomes on a team where he gets 1 on 1s. Josh Palmer should also be able to contribute right away and is more physical but a bit more tight in the hips. I like Palmer as a red zone target and for slants and he is pretty battle tested.

McDuffie is a productive guy who is aggressive against the run and taking on blocks. Not the highest upside but he seems like a pretty safe player overall.

Rountree fits the Darrel Williams mold and is a productive short yardage and goaline player who might actually be a bit better than Williams. CEH isn't a bellcow so I dont have an issue taking RB here.

Jets picks

1.2 Zach Wilson, QB, BYU-- this pick was made for me before the draft... didnt think it was the right move until trading away Darnold...

1.23 Alijah Vera-Tucker, OT, USC- When you draft a QB with your first pick, you have to get protection... Tucker was BPA

2- Landon Dickerson, C, Alabama- Jets have had some great centers in recent past, thanks to Mawae and Mangold... we know how to mold centers, that's our position... we own centers... so why not take the highest ceiling center in this class... may be there for YEARS

3-Kenneth Gainwell, RB, Memphis- when ignoring defense, and wanting my QB to throw the ball all season, i had to take the best receiving back in the draft...

3- Nico Collins, WR, Michigan- great size, and decent speed... Can become a legit WR, and to give the rookie QB as much talent around him as possible..

3- Anthony Schwartz, WR, Auburn- Fastest man in the draft... Probably just speed and not a great football player... but speed is something you can't teach, and it is also something that can dominate in the NFL... at worst, he will be a Special teams hero, at best he becomes a difference maker at WR

4. Stone Forsythe, OT, Florida- extra depth in the offensive line

5- Jermar Jefferson, RB, Oregon State- after drafting a receiving back earlier, why not go with a ground and pounder?? at worst, he is just extra depth at a needed position... at best he is a tandem back...

5.Royce Newman, OT, Mississippi- More depth at offensive line... nobody is safe, you have to WIN the job, and with all this depth, some have to stick and make this a good offensive line

6. Tony Poljan, TE, Virginia- Finished off my draft with the big man... he could be the TE steal of the draft...

Raiders

1.17. Jaylen Waddle, WR, Alabama
2.48. Eric Stokes, CB, Georgia
3.79. Josh Meyers, C, Ohio St
3.80 James Hudson, OT, Cincinnati
4.121. Jay Tufele, DL, USC
5.162 Tyree Gillespie, S, Missouri
5.167 Brenden Jaimes, OG, Nebraska
6.200 Marlon Tuipulotu, DT, USC

After Waddle slipped and I couldn't pass him up, the same thing happened with Stokes in the second round. After that I obviously focused on improving both lines. Pretty pleased with the outcome. I'd say if the offensive line can hold up, Carr should be able to put up some points with all those weapons.

Bills

1.30 Azeez Ojulari, Edge, Georgia - Bills have a pressing need for pass rush starting in 2022, Ojulari can step in and be a rotational pass rusher and potentially replace Jerry Hughes should he not be re-signed.

2.29 Ifeatu Melifonwu, CB, Syracuse - can compete with Levi Wallace for the #2 CB role and/or the slot role with Taron Johnson

3.29 Tommy Tremble, TE, Notre Dame - underutilized prospect due to the TE wealth on the Irish roster, solid inline and lead blocker with the speed to become a matchup problem in the passing game

5.17 Marquez Stevenson - WR, Houston - big play, vertical receiver with kick return experience, timed in the 4.4s at his pro day but measured smaller than expected (5'10)

5.30 Reed Blankenship - S, Middle Tenn St - solid tackler and 3rd safety with some nickel experience, Bills need to solidify their depth behind Poyer and Hyde

6.29 Avery Williams - Special Teams/CB - depth corner whose specialty is as a returner and with coverage teams, potentially the best kicking game prospect in the draft this year

7.8 Brett Heggie - OG/C, Florida - offensive guard forced into playing center this season due to injury and held his own for the Gators, supplies depth along the interior line for the Bills who will have some decisions to make at C and G in 2022.
