So what do you all expect from Vannett this season? I believe he is a above average TE that can be a big player for us. I am thinking Rec 45+/ Yds. 650+/ 5TD+. I would be happy extremely happy with those numbers and i believe he is someone that can put up those type of numbers. He has above average hands above average size and is very athletic for a man of his size. Not a FAST TE by any means but he is above average there also for his size.( 6-6 260-270 ) 35+ inch arms and over 10 inch hands. He has some unique measurements.

What are your opinions on Vannett and the rest of the Guys in that TE room? Lets hear it fellow 12's

Good blocking versus Graham....that's about all, but that well be a net positive. His lack of effort along with a shit OF line just wasn't working.

I would be surprised if Vannett caught more than 20 passes this season. Luke W averaged 1 a game for the past 2 years and never had more than 22 in a season, so I'm not sure what would compel me to think Nick V is going to more than double that when he'll likely be the backup behind Dickson. I expect Graham's targets to be spread amongst Lockett, Darboh, and maybe Prosise if he's healthy enough to play more than half the season.

Yeah I dont expect much from Vannett Maybe 2 or so touchdowns with Dickson grabbing 4 or 5. Not particularly thrilled with the guys we have at the position right now, but hopefully they'll surprise.

Low for receiving, high for blocking.

That said, Zach Miller was never really a STUD but he was a great blocker and made some plays here and there and we were able to win with him. Seattle just doesn't use their TEs as receivers much, we never have. We also spent a 3rd on Vannett so I'd really like to see if he can put it together.

IMO Dickson is a Zach Miller clone, we just spent too much for him.

This... I would expect 20-30 catches... He'll mainly be used for a run blocker, like Zach Miller... I see him as the same type of player...

I'll take Nicky V run blocking and 5 TDs on the season.
