Look, no one is disagreeing that Shanahan had too much say in the defense and likely caused alot of our woes in that area. But on the flip side I dont buy that he handcuffed Griffin. UNless the mandate was stay in the pocket and play as a pocket passer. If you call trying to get the guy to develop into what he says he wants to be handcuffing him, then I guess you are right. But then you would also have to admit, he didnt do a very good job of being a pocket passer then. BUt I agree, something doesnt look right here. As i have said, all they have to do now is prove it was all Shanahan. Go out and win the Division and a playoffs game. Because all the chatter coming from the team is saying the only reason we failed is because of Shanahan. He is gone and the team has been upgraded. So 12-4 should be easy right??

Yesterday I was watching Riggin's show "Riggo on the Range" Riggo is now mid 60s and Grimm and Didier are 10 years younger. Do you think we will ever have an era where the team is that good or the players so loved. It was like watching 3 old friends.

My bad Sharkster. I was with you back then, didn't want the trade at all but we have him now so I am going to hope he turns out to be the top 5 QB I said back then that he needed to be to justify giving up all those picks. :rollseyes:
