Yankees manager Aaron Boone told reporters on Wednesday that they plan to bring Troy Tulowitzki (heel) along slowly.
The man they call Tulo has been plagued with injuries over the last few years, and the former All-Star was released by the Blue Jays despite being owed $38 million on his contract. The Yankees plan on playing Tulowitzki at shortstop, but Boone reiterated that the Yankees feel comfortable playing Gleyber Torres at the position if necessary. Even playing in a park that's hitter-friendly, it's tough to imagine Tulowitzki providing much value in 2019.
