After 2 plus years I still don't know. I always say I go by what I see, not by what i read or what the stat sheet says and so far I haven't seen anything!!!

If your dream job is going to go up in smoke I would like to think that most of us would choose to go down trying to do our best. Sadly that's just does not seem to be in the cards for Matt Johnson. I wish him well but he has to be healthy to make the team. Kids luck just plain sucks the last 3-4 years!

If you are Sean Lee, an other worldly talented player with a big brain, you can get by with injuries. When you are Matt Johnson, who has he even played a single snap with us, you need to play through pain and get your butt on the field.

If repeated hamstring pulls and injuries is what this kid does, give him the boot and get someone in who WANTS to play. Even if Matt has talent, it does no good in street clothes.

I'm not sure there's any other team that would have held onto Johnson this long. This is another example of Jerry not wanting to say he was wrong. I wish he'd get it through his head that every GM makes mistakes. The problem is the good GM's know when to cut bait.

I hope he recovers and is able to show if he has anything, a 4th round pick is a high investment so Jerrah is going to give him one last chance. They obviously see something in him otherwise he would have been released by now

I am not predicting anything from Johnson, but I think almost every team would have held onto him, no? What has he really cost us? He doesn't make a lot of money and we have put him onto IR so he hasn't even cost us a roster spot. Hate to say this, but if he rips up his ACL tomorrow we probably put him on IR again. Why wouldn't we? Decision time is going to come if he is healthy at the end of camp or when it comes time for a new contract. He had better hope that he impresses the coaches enough that they think he can help the team and be worth the injury risk if he eventually gets hurt. As it stands right now if you make me choose between Jiohnson and Heath, I take Johnson (really just picking against Heath). Now if you say Heath is gone either way it it is between Johnson and someone else,,,he better hope he had a good camp...
