Surprise Cut

It seems every year there is one player cut that most thought would make the team. Who do you think will be the surprise cut this year?

I'm going to go out on a limb and say Leriebus. He came in out of shape and has struggled at times this preseason.

Wilson would also be a good one. It all depends on how Crawford and Minnifield fare.

Wilson might be hard since he redid his deal this off season. Converted a little money to bonus. It costs more to cut him than keep him at this point.

I dont have a pick right now though.

If it were not for Jenkins getting suspended I would have said Gholsten. Seems his job is safe for now. As uninspiring as LeRiebus has been, him getting cut may be no big deal all though I don't think the organization wants to admit they wasted a 3rd rounder on a guy who would have been there in round 5-6 a couple of years ago. You may see Gomes get the ax!

He cost more to cut than he does to keep on the pup. Short of an injury settlement which I dont see his agent letting him take... he is safe until next June from a dollars stand point alone.
