Has anyone seen/heard who is on it and who needs what?

I keep hearing that it was/will be released and I can't find it anywhere.

I read in a Toronto paper that Giroux needs at least 1 wrist worked on and maybe both

I wondered, considering the Giroux note, if there were some that they just didn't want "out there" until they had been worked on...

There were some updates today:

Wayne Simmonds – Had surgery to repair broken left index finger. Recovery time is 4-6 weeks.

Matt Carle – Had surgery to repair torn stomach muscle. Recovery time is 4-6 weeks.

Claude Giroux – Had surgery on his right wrist to repair torn cartilage and surgery on his left wrist to remove bone spurs. Recovery time is 6 weeks.

Kimmo Timonen – Will have surgery next week to remove a disc fragment from his lower back. Full recovery is expected in 8-10 weeks.

James van Riemsdyk – Will have surgery next week to repair a torn labrum in his right hip. Recovery time is 6 weeks.

on edit: As per Meltzer, this does not appear to be all of them.

Amazing that JVR Timmo and Giroux were still playing

This explains alot on why they ran out of gas.

I don't think any of us should be pointing fingers at those players as we have no idea how much this affected their play. In any case I'd like to see them upgrade Carle and Lilja.

Yeah, that's crazy - I had an abdominal strain before, and I couldn't have even played golf with that thing. Grossmann incurred an injury on a knee-to-knee during the NJ series. It is encouraging that he's not on this list, and I hope it stays that way - maybe there was no structural damage.

I hope so I was worried about Grossmann too after all the BS he took from the pens. I believe that its key that's he's healthy moving forward....he can't afford to lose any speed as we found out in the devs series.

He's had knee braces on 1 or both knees since April - cross your fingers.

Only in Philly do we have half the roster require surgery at some point during or after the season. The Eagles are in the same boat.

Per Meltzer again, looks like Grossmann isn't going to need surgery:

received some additional information on Nicklas Grossmann's injury status yesterday, via his Sweden-based agent Lars Cederström.
...
While surgery was initially considered the recommended course of action, the prognosis improved upon re-evaluation. Rest and rehab should do the trick.

So it's obviously nothing like a torn acl. Also had this link to an article on JVR's injuries - terrible year for him. His foot got infected during the playoffs, and they had to drain it repeatedly. If he got healthy, you still wonder about the upside with this guy - it's risk-n-reward.

I guess this guy will be living on his potential for his whole career. He is a mediocre player and nothing more and will be this way his whole career. and did i mention he is a giant puss.
