I doubt he's still in the org. by April. There is no way he makes the team out of ST, besides injury, becuase he is no better than any of our bullpen arms and obviously wouldn't crack the rotation. He has an out clause if he doesn't make the team and would basically have to accept an assignment to Fresno, which I don't see him doing.

If he does... GREAT MOVE! Exactally what we need.

Indeed. He's ST insurance for the starting staff, and he gets some exposure to the rest of the Cactus League. Barring injury to our Big Five, he probably catches on with a bottom feeder type team.
