A really good team or 2 will miss out on the playoffs

Injuries will probably take 1 or 2 teams out of the running like always.

Between the Vikings defense, Alvin Kamara's efficiency, the Panthers luck in close games, and Goff's efficiency I figure 1 or 2 of those teams will regress like the Falcons did last year when Matt Ryan came back down to earth.

Still...1 or 2 good teams will probably end up going 9-7 or maybe 10-6 and miss the playoffs.

I predict that one of the SB participants will be a team not on this list. I get a kick out of some of the media folks picking basically the same teams being in the playoffs as last season (especially in the NFC). Do these folks ever learn anything? The nature of the NFL is for surprises to occur every season & for there to be a lot of different teams in the playoff mix from season to season.

That's why I have 8 new playoff teams in this year. I think it'll be tight.

Aaron Rodgers regular season record IS really, really good. I do want to pick them pretty much every year but the trend has actually been 'average QB with a strong defense has an MVP level season' in the NFC. Cam Newton, Matt Ryan, Colin Kaepernick, Nick Foles, etc.

Thats impossible to predict. NFC is like rolling a die. AFC is probably Patriots or Steelers.

In the AFC the only logical pick is the Patriots.
Sleeper pick if they can improve the defense by seasons end would be the Chiefs.

NFC could be one of 5 teams & none would be a surprise.
