Might be putting $100 on the Saints. Improved D, QB still young enough to sling it, and decent draft with Cooks in the top part. Feel they are more all in than the Broncos. Broncos will go 10-6 this year against a ridic NFC West. Meanwhile while the NFC West (division) and AFC West beat each other up the NFC South is coasting.

Think I like me some Saints at a $100 laydown $2,000 pickup. Bout best odds you're going to do going SBOWL.

If I had to put some money on somebody I think the Cardinals might be an interesting bet. They were close last year to being playoff bound and will be battle tested going against the NFC and AFC West. Now being in the 2nd year with Carson Palmer he should be better and I think the draft was decent for them. I actually really liked the first 3 picks they made. Buchannon was a bit overdrafted but he gives them a major playmaker to go with a bunch of other playmakers in that secondary. I still don't trust Palmer to be good enough to get them over the top but they are a talented roster and with 40-1 odds I like my chances of putting down a bit of money.

Arizona has and outside shot... Palmer though can be inconsistent and make critical mistakes so I"m not sure he's got what it takes to get them to the promise land... I like there D, but they did lose Dansby who was balling for them ....

Definitely understand that. I also though can see Palmer doing what Flacco did a couple of years ago and getting hot at the right time. He is a very hot and cold kind of guy so it is just a matter of can he be hot at the right time. At 40-1 odds I might be willing to take that chance that he would be hot during the playoffs.

Vegas bookie says Seahawks will win fewer games in 2014

The latest Las Vegas betting line has the Super Bowl-champion Seattle Seahawks winning 11 games this coming season, fewer than their win total in 2013.

Sports book LVH on Sunday released its expected 2014 win totals for each NFL team, and the Seahawks are tied with the Denver Broncos for the most victories at 11. Seattle finished the 2013 regular season with a 13-3 record — two more victories than LVH expects in 2014.

Seattle also is favored to win the Super Bowl again, getting 9-2 odds from LVH, according to The Associated Press. Those are better chances than sports book Bovada gave the Seahawks last week to repeat their Lombardi Trophy victory.

The 12th Man may be surprised to hear Vegas expects the Seahawks to win fewer games in 2014. But the NFC West, widely regarded as the toughest division in the NFL, is expected to be even tougher this season.

The San Francisco 49ers are as scary as ever; LVH has Seattle’s biggest rivals at 10.5 wins this year. The St. Louis Rams cleaned up in the recent NFL Draft and are looking like a serious contender, though LVH has them at just 7.5 wins. The Arizona Cardinals, who missed the playoffs with a 10-6 record in 2013, are also listed by LVH at 7.5 wins.

Normally most teams that won 12+ games the previous year will end up with a projection of less wins due to a much more difficult schedule the following year, unless your the Pats that play in the crappy AFCE and generally win 12+ almost every season. This does not surprise me on the lower win total.
