Ranking the Power 5 divisions strongest to weakest

Best - SEC West
Worst - PAC 12 South

Just think. If it turns out like ESPN says, Kevin Sumlin will have gone from the strongest division to the weakest division and got something like $11 million in walking around money to do so.

I think ACC Coastal goes last. They're way too high, even at third to last.

So. Another ass clown that ranks a conference with no divisions into a list of best division.

And would that make the Big XII the biggest division in college football.
Maybe we could break it out by Big XII States. and rank the State of Texas and Oklahoma and Kansas and Iowa.

For me the SEC West is best, worst though would be the ACC Coastal.

And if they left you out completely you would be crying about being disrespected by being omitted.

I think a common misconception in all sports is confusing weak with parity.
If there was any semblance of success coming from the perceived division against the other conferences, it would be parity.

4. Pac-12 North

Teams: Cal, Oregon, Oregon State, Stanford, Washington, Washington State

5. Big 12
Teams: Baylor, Iowa State, Kansas, Kansas State, Oklahoma, Oklahoma State, TCU, Texas, Texas Tech, West Virginia

6. SEC East
Teams: Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Missouri, South Carolina, Tennessee, Vanderbilt

7. ACC Coastal
Teams: Duke, Georgia Tech, Miami, North Carolina, Pittsburgh, Virginia, Virginia Tech

8. Big Ten West
Teams: Illinois, Iowa, Minnesota, Nebraska, Northwestern, Purdue, Wisconsin

Like the good ‘ol B12 days before Texas shit the bed.

Ok. I’d put the B12 South at #5 on @Myles list. They’d be higher if Tech and Baylol would suck less

I agree with ooym that they aren't divisons and in doing so it makes it a two edged sword. If they had two five team divisions it might cause them to be last and next to last in the division rankings. And counting them as a 10 team division, it might cause them to be first or last because they have more...depending on whether the "more is good or bad"!

The PAC had 30 players drafted only behind SEC (50)and B10 who had 33 players with two more teams than the PAC. The ACC had 15 players drafted.

I dont see why the B10 W always ranks sp low in these . They've had a top 10 team pretty much every year and usually 2-3 top 25 teams with 5 bowl teams. The West basically is .500 vs the East historically Other than the top 2 or 3 divisions it's probably just as good as any other one

Must be the coaching, then.

The year before the PAC did really well in the bowls. and three teams in the top 10, How about it was just one of those years for the conference.
