Celtics are reportedly in the process of changing the team personnel.

1. Celts and Pacers are presently discussing Lyle Turner and who or what the C's will be sendimg. According to NBCSports, it's 90% done. This ain't Danny Ainge looking to screw the other guy.

2. Bradley Beal has supposedly quietly spoken to the Wizards and wants to be traded to Boston. Stevens has said no to Jalen Brown straight up. No one knows for sure exactly what, if anything has been discussed and it's 100% conjecture on the media's part.

Brown is equal to Beal in performance and improving every year. He's also six years younger. To get Brown, the Wizards would have to give up Hucimura(?) and they would probably get Brown, Grant Williams and a 2nd round pick.

Celtic's roster is going to get pared and Triten Thompson, Carson Edwards, Ojele and a couple of others are not going to be playing in Boston.

Edwards is on his way out already?

Stevens knows what every play can and cannot do. He doesn't fit into the scope of what Brad intends thia team to look like or do as a team. All indications are that he wants a strong starting five and a man to plug in at any given moment who will be just a bit less than the starter. That second man could start and the other four wouldn't miss a beat. Sort of like the old days with Don Nelson et al coming off the bench.

After making it all the way to the 2022 NBA Finals and ultimately losing to the Golden State Warriors in six games, the Boston Celtics are making some roster changes. On Friday, the Celtics traded Daniel Theis, Aaron Nesmith, Nik Stauskas, Malik Fitts, Juwan Morgan and a 2023 first-round pick to the Indiana Pacers in exchange for veteran guard Malcolm Brogdon, according to Adrian Wojnarowski. Brogdon averaged 19.1 points, 5.1 rebounds and 5.9 assists in 33 games for the Pacers last season.

The trade comes just hours after it was reported veteran forward Danilo Gallinari would be signing a two-year deal with Boston after clearing waivers. Gallinari was traded to the San Antonio Spurs from the Atlanta Hawks earlier this week, and the Spurs proceeded to waive him as they appear to be heading for a rebuild.

Before the trade the C's were $7.7M over the Luxury, Now they're $32.2M over.

Stevens is also talking to the Nets Rumor is that Jalen Brown, Derrick White, and one or two others and four first round picks are being discussed and the Nets are looking for a pot of gold to send Kevin Durant to Boston.

GS Warriors are in for a game tonight and trying to get Stevens to give them Payton Pritchard. No word on what they're willing to give up.

Stevens is trying to talk the Spurs into giving up C Jakob Poeltl who will be a FA this summer. He's making $9M and will command around $20M this summer. He turned down a Spurs offer of 4 Yr/$58M extension last month. The Raptors also want him back. Rumor is that the Spurs want two first round picks.

Tremendous amount of interest on Grant Williams. At least eight teams have inquired.

Rumor is that the Kings and Celtics are talking. Williams goes west and Richaun Holmes will go to Boston.

Nothing concrete but Holmes contract runs through 2025 and he's the big man that Stevens might be looking for.

There's also smoke starting about PJ Washington heading north from the Hornets nest.

This would’ve made no sense for Boston

Sure some bob insurance would’ve been nice, but holmes has tanked his value

Didn't take Brad long to get rid of a big salary and assume another one.

Brogdon to the Wizard for Porzingas.

Actually a good move for both teams. Appears that a few other things have to happen, but from all indications, it's pretty much a done deal per NBC Sports Boston.
