Watson tries to run power football but is a WCO guy. He doesn't know how to run power football. He is a white collar coach trying to run a blue collar offense. Aint gonna work!!!!! If Bo doesn't do something this offseason with the offense, then the blame should go straight on him!!!!!
I see where Sipple is going with that. He is just saying that it isn't only Watson's fault. He didn't call plays for the WRs to drop all those TD passes against Texas. He didn't call plays for them to fumble 45 times this season. 45 fucking fumbles this year!!!!!!!!! Almost 4 a game.
But anyway, back to Sipple. I like Sipple and and I like listening to him on the radio, but he defends Watson all the time. So this isn't a surprise that he wrote that.
Yeah I like Sipple. However, these players aren't focusing on the task at hand. They are not executing as if their heads are in the clouds. Catching passes is focus, holding on to the ball is focus. You learn to focus in practice. If an individual can't focus he doesn't play until he can learn to focus. The first 2-3 games of the season is where you iron out the wrinkles, this is game 14 and it's the same keystone cops episode.
I understand there will be dropped passes, fumbles and penalties, but there is a consistent pattern here. A pattern that is evident for 9 years dating from Colorado to Nebraska. It's the way Watsons teams play.
