Suns inducting Steve Nash to their Ring of Honor joining Alvan Adams, Charles Barkley, Tom Chambers, Jerry Colangelo, Walter Davis, Cotton Fitzsimmons, Connie Hawkins, Kevin Johnson, John MacLeod, Thunder Dan, Dick Van Arsdale & Paul Westphal.

Growing up a Suns fan the first team I got to watch was the KJ-Barkley team and that was an electric group that made the Finals and was fun to watch, but nothing will ever top the Run N Gun Suns seven second or less offense. That era changed the way basketball is played today. Nash was by far my favorite Sun of all-time and probably will be for the foreseeable future.


They'll wear these socks tonight as well- I need to find a pair…

Very cool honor for Nash.

Btw, I'm old enough that I saw Alvan Adams, Connie Hawkins, Walter Davis and Dick Van Arsdale all play and Cotton Fitzsimmons coach live at the old Madhouse on McDowell.

I even went to Dick Van Arsdale's basketball camp 2 years in a row.

I didn't mind reminiscing about the run and gun days. It was pretty long though
