If you get paid to play football and you haven't taken some sort of steroids, or "PEDs", you haven't played football for money to your full capacity.

It will never go away, I played college ball early 90's before practice I watched an OLman take his helmet reach across an smash the nose of a DB about a basic conversation, guys would snap at the drop of a hat and afterwards act like nothing every happened...

I don't support an absolute ban against steroids at any level of sports. If used appropriately, and sparingly, they're almost like a miracle cure. However, CFB and the pros should have a few docs they're prescribed by and if you test positive without a script from those docs fine, suspend and then ban you.

(Last May I had a back injury so bad I couldn't roll over in bed, 4 days on prescribed steroids and I was back working 20 hour days. So, it would be hypocritical for me to universally condemn their use.)
