Backup centers are also pretty important as we've seen with this team. I am interested to see what happens after this season, though. Finney will be a UFA at 28 so he's probably going to want to start somewhere. Maybe the Foster contract breakdown shows they can get out of it after the year if need be.

Great point. And I forgot that Finney will be the backup C also.
I wonder with Foster they gave him two years knowing next season will be his last but added the second season to give him a little more guaranteed money?

Possibly, or maybe they transition him to a reserve role in 2020 or just insurance if Finney does leave
