Tempered with the fact it was Charleston Southern.. Im ecstatic with this offensive performance..444 yards of offense, all but 90 coming in the first half with Franks in charge, while the UF defense limited the Buccaneers' triple option attack to 225 yards, only three by way of the pass.
Franks was also 16/24 and Freddy Swain and Van Jefferson shined.. If we can keep this up we are going to do well this season.. at the least much better than last for sure. the future looks much brighter than before

It was against a team that gets completely annihilated by every FBS team they play. But still good to see. Brings a sliver of hope.

As craptastic as it went last night.. i guess it could be worse.. someone commented ..that even Saban lost to SELA his first year at bama .. I was hoping that we had the talent to overcome the coaching woes of last year.. i guess not.. we have lost the battle but the war is still raging..

It was bad news from the first play on defense. There wasn't any intensity. It clearly was as if they just went through the motions, they thought they'd beat sucky Kentucky, again. Well, UK played to win and UF couldn't overcome that without any of the intangibles it takes to win a tight game.

Low intensity and poor tackling = loss in the SEC. The corch didn't take UK seriously enough either as he kept passing to get our shitty QB rolling instead of properly controlling the game by running.

Bad, bad, bad.....

Mullen said they charted 20 missed tackles for 168 yards. Thats insane and the difference in the game. As poorly as the offense played those extra yards extended drives and gave up points.

giving up over 500 yards rushing in 2 games is a big concern.....
