They sure did. It seems jerry just loves projects. He had so many red flags, I thought he was from china.

Yeah, he was drafted on potential which rarely works in the Cowboys favor. Obviously Pollard is the best pick out of that draft so far. I will say that mcgovern when healthy is a starting quality lineman. Mcgovern will play at a high level if healthy. At the time I wanted thornhill and I have not altered that thought. I am still pisst . Thornhill was a proven player and would be starting over Heath IMO

Yep, jerry clearly does not value safety position similar to how he did not value the linebacker position back in the late 90s. I am all for drafting a defensive lineman,but dont reach for one when at least 2 proven starting caliber safeties are on the board. Heaths occasional splash or even lucky plays dont make up for all the missed tackles and blown coverages.

Well it’s early still but this is starting to look and feel like the Taco deal. This pick is all on Rod maranelli just like Taco was we should have picked Watt plain and simple.
My faith in Rod to recognize talent is running out of gas faster than Beto O’Rourke taking my AR-15!

yep...this pick is on Maranelli (not Jerry), but it's way too early to call this guy a bust. Hill lacks maturity and effort. Hopefully that changes next season. Most people were down on DLAW after his first season. Next season should give us an indication what this guy is.
