I think you'd best leave your stimulation at the door during the draft.

Also, your not getting an elite QB in the third, unless you play with a group of tools. Or unless you've mistakenly referred to anyone other than Manning, Rodgers and Brees as elite.

No I would be getting one in the first two rounds. If its keeper I have Rodgers already. Stimulation means I don't get out much.

Who would the better backup be: Chris Johnson or Trent Richardson? They're both projected close to each other ADP

If colts are still doing RBBC and using a balance offense, Johnson.

So true! I picked Justin Hunter last year instead of Nate Washington in our Coma, knowing it was stupid. I've also heard some crazies have Montee Ball rated 2nd! Didn't he/they learn their lesson with Doug Martin last year?

Also very true! Who's taking Dougie this year? Spiller?

...but let's not forget another thing... chasing points. The over thinker sometimes only looks to last year as a floor to a breakout, instead of possible career years and/or regime changes.

I don't look to last year for surprise players, however the end of the season is very telling and a preview which is why I like Patterson a lot. An example of last year as a whole is J.Bell.

Well outside the top six there really isnt a sure thing at rb for rb 1 value. But ones who are true 1s are being overlooked and falling to fifth round.

And here are the knocks on these backs after
Bell......plays in a balanced offense, not exactly run-first.
Foster..if he's there I will get him, but he runs an injury risk with no quality backup.
Ball......just cannot
Benard...just no. And a timeshare.
Ellington.....he's too small and has a tough schedule is his knocks.
Spiller........Its a RBBC with 3 backs is his knocks.
Stacy.........Bradford will throw more and not give him as many carries as Clemens did.
I mean am I spoiled into thinking I should look for 17 a game here instead of 9-12.
Matthews...Personally, he has a tough schedule that can stop the run. The real knock is Donald Brown.
This is what we are looking at after the first six are gone.
Then its this batch of RBs
Johnson
Gerhart
Jennings
Sankey
Rice.
Out of those two are actual proven number 1s, 2 are upcoming starters, and 1 is unpredictable.

Well Ball is in my top six, so I'm not sure where to go from there. And what do you mean 5th round? Maybe some in a 10 team league, but in standard 12 teamers none of those players will be there in the 5th.

It will be interesting to see how the real draft looks compared to the mocks but CJ2k, Rice, Sankey are being drafted in the fifth round in the mocks. At NFL.com their rankings are a bit different, they tend to rank QBs the lowest, TEs are higher ranked than others. They have Murray, Bell, and Foster ranked in the top 10.

I believe NFL.com have 4-point QB TD pass defaults, which may be a reason gor their lower ranked QB's.

Not in my league, its 6 points. I have the format set almost like it used to be when it was with CBS. Fox Sports also does 6 points(or did have not played in four years there) for QBs.

I just did a 10 team mock mock auction because I was bored. I left with 4-5 spots still to fill and plenty of $ to get basically whoever I wanted from what was left. My team:

QB: Romo and Cutler
RB: Ball, Bernard, Jennings, Gerhart
WR: D. Thomas, Marshall, Patterson, Hilton
TE: Cameron

The point of this post: Mocks are meaningless, because there is no way I could ever get this team in real life in a league of any size. Feel free to look at actual ADP data, but do not base your assumptions on mock drafts. It just does not work.

Have done about five mocks. . I'm beginning to think Brees signs in as all ten team owners in his mocks and then comes out with this crazy stuff about all these guys falling into the fifth, because not more than one of them, in any draft, has been there in the fifth. No idea where your doing your mocks, or what type of people are in them with you, but you're not getting any kind of an accurate feel for what's going to happen when money or even friendly bragging rights are on the line.

Just did 12 team and Sankey was taking 54th and C. Johnson 65th; Sankey is projected in the 30s but ADP is 74.7 on Yahoo

Those are the fifth rounders I have seen. I know that they will be higher on draft day.
